Kissin’ Oldies 106.9, WKZA is the Southern Tier’s new channel for the rock, pop and soul hits of the 1960’s and 1970’s! Ashley & Brad bring upbeat fun and laughs, and the best in pop culture to our 106.9 WKZA listeners each Monday-Saturday from 6-10 AM!  The show features funny bits, "The Fun Fact", "Whose Got Birthdays?", trivia, popular guest interviews, along with humorous conversation, and the latest in entertainment and music in "The News Roundup".  Together Ashley & Brad deliver laughs and entertainment, safe for all to listen to, while sharing their life with our listeners. 

Ashley's first professional step in radio was at KOMA/KRXO in Oklahoma City as the Promotions Manager, a position which eventually led her to become the afternoon sidekick. In 1994, she moved to Los Angeles and continued her on-air radio career, broadcasting mornings on Lite FM, KZLA and Go Country 105. Ashley joined with Brad Abrell for "The Ashley & Brad Show" in 2015.

Brad grew up in Miami, FL where as a kid he used a tape recorder and Mad magazines as scripts to make his own radio shows.  His radio resume included mornings on 94.9 Zeta 4, WAOA 107.1 and WMMO 98.9. He moved to Los Angeles where he has been a working on-camera and voice-over actor for commercials, TV shows, movies, video games and animation (Hotel Transylvania: Transformania,Green Eggs and Ham, SpongeBob SquarePants, Gravity Falls, Doc McStuffins and more).

A son of Staten Island and music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, Vinnie Medugno airs every Saturday from 8:00-9:00 PM, spins the hits we all love. He spotlights specific years and artists and opens Vinnie’s Vinyl Vault, featuring rare cuts from the biggest acts. A virtuoso of all musical genres, his charisma reaches across the airwaves to regale you with wonderful stories about the music we all love.  Vinnie Medugno is a teacher, singer, and radio host. He teaches performing arts Media Broadcasting at his alma mater of Port Richmond High School in Staten Island New York, which he feels is his greatest accomplishment.  He’s interviewed stars such as Frankie Valli, Smokey Robinson, Felix Cavaliere of The Rascals, and Peter Noone, along with many others.

Cousin Brucie’s Rock & Roll Party takes you back to the excitement of those wonderful early days of rock & roll. Cousin Brucie (Bruce Morrow) was on the air in New York City in the ‘60s and introduced fans to The Beatles, Motown, ‘60s Soul, surf music, the Girl Groups and more. He interviewed The Beatles when they first came to the U.S. in 1964 and then introduced The Beatles at the famous Shea Stadium Concert on August 15, 1965.  Cousin Brucie’s legendary status in rock & roll gives him incredible access to the rock & roll stars that brought us all that great music. Cousin Brucie’s guests have included Dion DiMucci, Tommy James, Frankie Valli, Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers, and more of your favorite rock & roll artists. This three hour weekly program brings back radio’s lost art: Theater of the Mind!  In 1987, M.G. Kelly and The Real Don Steele joined forces on a massive radio production! Each week, Steele entered a time warp to the 1960s. From there, the music and events of the decade became present day!  The original stellar masters created over 25 years ago air each Saturday from 6:00-9:00 AM on WKZA!

The Brunch with Joe Johnson is a captivating hour of music and interviews with The Beatles as ‘The Greatest Little Rock Band in the World’ with the contemporary music of Paul and Ringo.
